Here goes! My 5th installment in my ‘Cool as Ice’ series. I found these cool shot trays that allow you to make ice shots….so I don’t know about you, but when I think of shots, I think about..TEQUILA!

These shots were a bit sloppy, so I’ll have to admit that the presentation is a semi-fail, BUT then I tasted them, and YUM! Good stuff. Definitely give it a try!

Pineapple-chili shots


4-6 oz Silver Agave Tequila

3-4 cups pineapple Juice

2 tablespoons black cherry Juice

1/2 cup lime juice

1 1/2  tablespoons agave syrup

Margarita Salt (or Kosher salt)

Chili Powder

Ice & Cocktail shaker

Ice shot tray (mine is from Barbuzzo)


Pour 1 1/2 of cups pineapple juice into ice trays & then followwith cherry juice. Freeze for at least 4 hours.  Fill a cocktail shaker two-thirds with ice. Add silver tequila, 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice, lime juice and agave syrup. Shake well. Rim shot glasses with a mixture of of salt and chili powder. Pour contents of shaker in shots glasses. Yields about 8 shots. Drink fast!
