Every year it never fails, no matter how much we try to make plans for New Years Eve, we always end up flying by the seat of our pants. This year was no different. We attempted to make plans out-of-town with friends, but it just didn’t pan out. So here we are again two days before with no plans. Yet, I’m not really sweating it because wherever B and I end up, I know it’ll be fabulous. Even if we end up in front of the TV. However, just because we don’t have plans doesn’t mean I don’t have a “just in case” outfit. You know, the “just in case we end up hanging from the chandeliers & going to a the best party ever” outfit. Yep. I’ve got one. This year I might even take a page from the boys and do a little tuxedo action. The classic black & white combo always achieves looking effortless yet upscale all at once; a great “just in case” option. You can take the girl out of the Girl Scouts but you can’t take the Girl Scouts out of the girl…because a little preparation never hurt anyone.
Its been quite a while since my last outfit post, but I was inspired over the weekend to share my love for stripes along with bold colors. This is one of my favorite outfits I’ve put together in a while. My obsession with neon is still going strong as you can see with the pants. I have a feeling I’ll be wearing this outfit quite a bit over the next few weeks. I’ve also revisted one of my childhood hairstyles: The Afro Puff. It’s my 4th day in a row rockin’ this do’. With my outfit & my’ puff’, I feel like it’s my first day of 2nd grade all over again!
